Fifty years of fishing have taken Johan Broman from childhood summers in Sikvik – a small fishing village south of Gävle, Sweden – to some of the world's most remote and spectacular fishing waters.

Johan first held a rod at the age of three – a bamboo pole with a float – and has never stopped fishing since. Today he leads around a hundred fishing trips per year and has caught everything from pike in northern Sweden to Black Marlin off the coast of South Africa.
For Johan, fishing is about more than just sport. It's the food, the company, and the feeling of being completely immersed in nature that makes every trip unique.

As a TV personality, Johan is known from the series Fiskedestination on TV4, where he takes viewers to the world's best fishing destinations. He firmly believes that Sweden holds world-class fishing waters – from Kiruna in the north to Blekinge in the south – and is passionate about sharing that with a wide audience.
